  • EPA Resources for Educators – The Environmental Protection Agency provides a range of educational resources on environmental topics. Resources are available for various grade levels for K-12.
  • FILM
    Free F.I.L.M. Curricula – F.I.L.M. (Finding Inspiration in Literature & Movies) is a movie curricula program for young people promoting reading, activity-based learning and service. The program from Heartland Truly Moving Pictures and the National Collaboration for Youth (NCY) focuses on the development and distribution of free curricula based on Truly Moving Picture award-winning films to channel positive messages and life-affirming themes into the minds and lives of youth.
  • NASA Resources for Educators – NASA provides a range of science and technology resources for educators. Resources are available for various grade levels for K-12 as well as higher education.
  • Teachers' Domain: Digital Media for the Classroom and Professional Development – This online library offers free classroom media resources from public television programs such as NOVA, Frontline, Design Squad, American Experience, and other public broadcasting and content partners.

Funding Opportunities

  • Best Buy Teach Award Program
    Open to K12 schools, Best Buy Teach Awards recognize creative uses of interactive technology in the classroom. Winning programs focus on kids using technology to learn standards-based curriculum.

  • Mini Grants for Educators 2009 – The DTE Energy Foundation offers grants for projects based on math and science, energy, and the environment.
  • NASA Announces Competitive Grant Programs
    July 18, 2008
    NASA's Office of Education announced three new extramural funding opportunities for grants or cooperative agreements for science and technology instruction.

  • National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Grant Program
    NCTM's Emerging Teacher-Leaders in Elementary School Mathematics Grants for Grades K–5 Teachers recognizes an elementary school teacher who has a demonstrated commitment to mathematics teaching and learning.
