ANGEL Learning co-founder Dave Mills has served as ANGEL’s chief architect since its conception at the Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis CyberLab where he served as associate director. Dave’s academic roots continue to drive his focus on creating technology solutions to positively impact teaching and learning.

Recognized for his vision in the field of educational technology, Dave’s early work produced the first large-scale, enterprise CMS, integrated learning portal, application of intelligent agents and sharable content repositories. Today, Dave’s focus has evolved into ongoing innovation and application of technology to personalize teaching and learning and ultimately to improve educational outcomes.

Dave’s passion for education extends to his free time. As a member of the TechPoint Foundation board of directors, Dave is actively involved in Indianapolis Public Schools’ New Tech High @ Arsenal Tech, a one-to-one laptop program designed to create successful, replicable models of 21st Century education for Indiana’s rural, suburban and urban high schools.

Dave is a graduate of Purdue University, with a degree in computer technology.
