Program Description

Lower Columbia College’s highly successful distance education LPN to RN LERN Program is the only program of its kind in the State of Washington. The innovative use of ANGEL to deliver distance education to address critical nursing shortages while enabling students to continue LPN employment earned the program a 2007 ANGEL IMPACT Award.

The program which delivers theory courses online and conducts intensive clinical courses on the college campus has the potential to train hundreds of RNs over the next few years.
